We are really starting to anticipate Valentine's Day!
How about you?
Today we made a little time to put together a few of the many Valentines we will need.
I wanted the kids to be able to create on their own...let their creativity flow.
I used whatever we had on hand and cut different sized hearts to layer....paper, ribbon, burlap, lace, newspaper, shredded easter paper, buttons, and tissue.
We used a glue gun, but glue sticks would work fine, too:).
I like a little ruffle, so I used a pencil to roll up and curl the edges.
Here is one that Lily made.
Hope you have a great weekend!

I am visiting from Lisa's Blog and I just love your Valentine's. In Australia we don't celebrate Valentine's Day to the same extent that you do in the US but my little girl will be 4 on Valentine's Day so I think I will make some of these for her.
Your Valentine hearts are so cute! I love home made valentines. They look fairly easy too. Thanks for the share!
