I will be the first to admit that I so struggle with perfectionism.
It can be a wonderful thing...at times...but often it overwhelms me.
Especially when life gets amazingly busy...
I read this by Anne Voskamp this morning and it was such a comfort to me.
We are headed for Fair this week.
A week of total fun, great memories, and a little chaos.
A week of praising God in gratitude for each wonderful moment with a peaceful heart.

I have noticed that the more children I have the less and less perfect I strive to be...
it's not the children that overwhelms me, it's how I have dealt with life that is overwhelming
(p.s. I subscribe/follow your blog but it never shows up on my updates...I wonder why?? here I thought you haven't updated in awhile!!)
Hello :) I just happened upon your blog and it's lovely. I think your 'mystery flower' in your garden is Echinacea. I have them in my garden and I love them. Look them up and see if it matches... maybe not, but that's what it looks like to me :) Happy gardening!
