Fresh Spring

Blessed is the man who trusts in me, God,
the woman who sticks with God.
They're like trees planted in Eden,
putting down roots near the rivers -
Never a worry through the hottest of summers,
never dropping a leaf,
serene and calm through droughts,
bearing fresh fruit every season.
Jeremiah 17:6-8 {the message}

I thought I would share one of my favorite verses with you today.
I aspire to be like this...unwavering in the midst of life because I am firmly rooted.

Never a worry...

Serene and calm no matter what is happening.

Like a breath of fresh air in Spring.
And oh...has the air smelled ever so sweet lately.
I can't get enough!

It is where God wants us.
Longing for more of His sweet and fresh plans for our lives.

Plans to bear new fruits every season.

And His plans are good, so good.
To think that all we have to do is trust and we will be like trees firmly rooted an unwavering because our roots are so grounded.
Nothing can shake us free and we are nourished constantly....content, stable, calm.
No need to worry because as long as we are trusting God to establish our path, all is fine.

I think trust is a good place to start :).
A fresh start to a beautiful new season.

Spring Blessings,

Thank you, Miss Julia, your words, Scripture, and pictures are a breath of sweet calm and serenity that I needed very much this morning. My momma just began chemo treatments and adjusting has been difficult.
Sometimes little reminders like this are just what we need to get us through the day.

Ah, like the wise man building his house upon the rock. Yes, I want to be firmly planted, unwavering, too. It takes a little time and tending every day, but it can be done.
