Fall Ventures...

I just want to savor this time of the year.
We have been able to take a couple of fun trips.
The first was in late October to our family fishing spot near Leavenworth, WA.
The whole family came.
It was my Dad's treasured spot to take us as kids, so being there with everyone was wonderful!

We rented a pontoon for the day.
They are so fun!
The kids have room to walk around and pick a new fishing spot on the boat.

The boats stacked for winter.
I was kind of surprised we didn't have snow...
See the little store in the back with my littles coming out?
We did the same thing as kids.
In and out all day long buying way too much candy!

My brother Luke took our older boys out for 9 hours of fishing on the boat.
That's a lot of fishing...and one amazing uncle!

Cousins on the shore.

Cousins learning to row with Darren :).

My handsome little brother Luke.
He's not taken yet :).

My Mom and sister with Tim going out for a bit on the lake.

More cousins fishing together.

Roasting marshmallows with the uncles and cousins.

I collected these gorgeous leaves to dry and make place card settings for Thanksgiving.
They were just the right colors.

The family filling up the whole dock :).

The raccoons love the fish cleaning shack.
I am a little leery of them, but boy they are friendly.

The trip was such a treasure for all of us!

More recently my cousin, sister, and I went to our local Grange's Christmas bazaar.

It was jam packed!
It was so crowded, but I managed to find a few little Christmas gifts.
What fun!

I thought I'd share the beautiful views from the Grange...

Being there totally put me in the mood for Christmas decorating, but I am solidly waiting until after Thanksgiving :).

We have had a little snow and some fog in the mornings.
I captured this beautiful setting the other morning.

Hope your Autumn days have been full of joy!

Loved all the photos…I think the worms and your son's small hand on the reel were my favorites…but then there were sunsets…and campfire spots..and serene lake views. Okay, I loved them all!

I think just about EVERY picture is STUNNING....well, just about...but definitely NOT the one with the worms!! Eeewww!! ;) But really, gorgeous photos!!! What a beautiful place! I pray the time you all had together there was healing - it looked just lovely and so peaceful! ♥ And wow, nine hours fishing - they are some troopers!!

I feel 'bad' for you American's with your "late" Thanksgiving - we had ours last month so we spent today putting up the tree and tomorrow decorating the house! :D I couldn't STAND waiting as long as you all have to! ;)

Praying you have a blessed week! :) ☼

Hi Julia,

The colors amazing! We do not have that here in the mountains up in Anza Ca. too brown and only scrub oak here.

But my favorite meal that you showed would be definitely the worms on that hook! Wonderful...

Isn't making memories the best part in having a family?

in Him,
