I try to have my kids help prepare dinner and such for the Thanksgiving festivities, but sometimes it's nice to have a project that they can accomplish all by themselves.
I saw this in a magazine somewhere {sorry to not know who to credit} and just came up with my own design.
Aren't they cute...like little nibbly acorns?
And scrumptious?
What you'll need...
about 12 doughnut holes
stick pretzels
chocolate sprinkles or white pareilles
about 1/2 cup chocolate chips
1. Melt chocolate for about 1.5 minutes in microwave, stopping to stir frequently.
You could just melt on stove top on low until smooth, stirring frequently.
2. Dip top of doughnut hole in {about a quarter of the way} and set clean side down.
3. Sprinkle top with chocolate or white sprinkles.
4. Add pretzel stick and let cool.
Whalaa!
You have the perfect compliment for your Thanksgiving celebration.
Hope you have a happy day!
