Holiday Blessings

I hope that you are enjoying this lovely day after the Christmas holiday.

{Recipe for Almond Braid from The Red Feedsack}

And that your hearts are stuffed full.

Mine is just brimming with good memories and joy....even though I have been sick.
Who gets sick on Christmas day :)?
Me.

And if your day eluded the gift of joy, I hope that you can find it today knowing that
"Looking comes first....C.S. Lewis."

Joy really does follow gratitude, and gratitude is direct response to how you perceive.
"You only begin to change your life when you begin to change the way you see." Ann Voskamp

Sometimes God gives us unexpected gifts wrapped in the circumstances we didn't quite anticipate.
Change the way you see...

You can still have joy.

Gratitude for every circumstance, for every happy moment, as well as the bitter moments.
Your "seeing" must reflect what God sees in your life.
What He wants you to learn and gain by the experiences that come your way.

There is a gift in finding joy.
Seeing it.
Unwrapping it.

Hope you enjoy this day of fullness in the joy of Christ.
