Tea Cup Flowers

Mother's Day is fast approaching!
I like to surprise my Mom with a sweet something.
Usually, flowers are on the list...they are her favorite.

With a tea cup, a few small flowers to pot, these darling planters are the perfect little something.

I started by putting sand in the bottom for drainage, then planted a couple of flowers and greens....small Johnny Jump Ups, and "Goldi " Lysimachia.

Simple and sweet.
And I like that I am giving a living planter that Mom can enjoy all summer.

Wishing you all a lovely day!

What a cute idea. I'm always collecting tea cups and then I always keep ones that have a chip or two for something fun like this!

I worry about the drainage though and have tried tiny rocks in the past. Does the sand work better?
