My Very Favorite Fall Soups

Reposting because Fall is here, and who doesn't LOVE a hot bowl of soup!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Maybe it is the harvest from the garden, a sort of finishing round of applause for the vegetables.
Maybe it is just the cooler nights
The sweater weather around the corner.
Soups beckon to be made this time of the year, providing a simplistic meal, a quick meal to put together, and even a perfect meal for guests.
Paired with a crusty bread and salad...maybe a pie for dessert...you have one fantastic meal.
Here are some of my favorites...
And bread....who can live without it?
Here are some great recipes...
And dessert....every bite screaming Fall.
Wow! Your soups and breads look delicious, Mindy.
I love split pea soup but never think to make it. Maybe it's because my husband doesn't care for it.
Last night I made Robyn's minestrone soup and was it ever delicious. I added mini meatballs in my husband's as He needs meat with his soups. :-)
I'll have to try that french bread with jalapenos. Yum!
Have a beautiful weekend~ Debbie
I'm a big fan of soup in the winter and all of these look delicious. I usually make toast to go with it but I may try some oven toasted french bread next time.
Have a good weekend.
