Valentine's Tags

I love tags...I think I am slightly addicted to them.
This Valentine's tag was super simple to make and cost next to nothing:).
Fabric, manila tags, glue stick, ribbon, and a sewing machine are all you need!

To make, just cut a heart out of fabric in your desired size.
Tack it down on the tag with your glue stick.
Sew around edges, then sew around the edges of the tag.
Add ribbon...that's it:).

We have used these in the past as Valentine's for the kids' friends...just add a message to the tag!
They also make a nice addition to a gift:).

As usual, so simple and so cute. Thanks for the idea. I wish I'd seen it earlier, I would have put it on Favorites on Friday! :)

LOVE these! Where do you find manilla tags?

Hi Robin!

I actually bought these at a paper store in town that was going out of business. They are a larger size....4 3/4" x 2 3/8". I would check an office supply store in your area that carries paper goods. You could also just cut them out of stock paper and buy the little "o" stickers {in the office section at the grocery store...used for hole punch reinforcement}. I am going to try and use a brown craft paper this time, but other colors would look great!

I hope that helps! I would love to see what do!

Love this idea and I have lots of left over fabric that would be perfect for these. Think I have to try your apple sauce cake too. Looks heavenly!

I think these would make adorable bookmarks! Is there any special trick to sewing on paper? I've never tried it before...
